Jessica Hernandez – Artist and Forest School Leader
After graduating from a Speech and Drama training in 2006, I spent much of my early professional life touring educational plays and stories across the UK and parts of Europe. I soon discovered a passion for working with younger audiences and bringing theatrical experiences to children who might never have set foot inside a theatre. I trained with Vivian Gladwell from Nose to Nose and have also been working as a Clowning workshop facilitator since 2008.
I graduated from my Forest School Leader training in spring 2022. Combining storytelling with Forest School activities in three wonderful woodland settings in Aberdeen and Shire is a dream come true.
Ruben (12) and Leon (10) – Holiday Assistants
My children’s natural habitat is the great outdoors. Thanks to these two woodland squirrels, I have discovered that a muddy puddle and a handful of sticks make some of the best playthings. You might occasionally meet Ruben and Leon at a Woodland Whispers session.
Berry – Branch Manager
Berry the Labrador Therapet may be occasionally accompanying me to our 1:1 sessions. She loves children and is very calm around them. Please get in touch if you or your child are scared of or allergic to dogs.
